I like to say that Twitter is like a bar, Facebook is your living room and LinkedIn is the local chamber of commerce

I have an addiction!

I am currently working at Companion Care Vets Worcester as their part-time receptionist/social media manager. This job has been absolutely fantastic for me in the sense I have been very much able to experiment with social media marketing in order to improve client service and, of course, promote the practice. Around September 2011, the opportunity arose for the practice to have their very own Facebook page. I pitched the idea to my boss (who, at the time, wasn’t even on Facebook) and he jumped at it. Since then we have branched out onto Twitter and even Tumblr, all of which I manage!

“Some may say I have an addiction, and I have to agree.”

Let’s put it this way, what started as a part-time position is now full-time and out-of-hours! I absolutely love it and have realised that I would love to do more work in this field as the boundaries are limitless.

Someone’s opinion of you does not have to become your reality.”
